Ngampabung village held a training session on January 30th, 2024, to explore the concept of carbon credits and land rights. The program attracted 24 villagers, showcasing their interest in understanding how they can contribute to environmental protection and potentially benefit from it.

The first session focused on introducing carbon credits. Participants learned about the concept, how carbon functions in the environment, and global initiatives undertaken to safeguard our planet. This knowledge will serve as the foundation for further exploring how villagers can participate in carbon credit programs, potentially generating income while contributing to environmental sustainability.
